How did you get here?

I did my first elective with AMPATH in the Department of Reproductive Health in 2008, as a 2nd year medical student. The AMPATH partnership felt like a true collaboration and a sustainable way to be involved in global health and I knew that I wanted to be involved over the long term. I then came back to Kenya in 2010 and 2014 for further electives and then spent 9 months in Eldoret in 2015/2016 as the Reproductive Health Team Leader. I am now one of the AMPATH-RH Research Directors and am helping, in particular, with the launch and programs of the new Rafiki Centre for Adolescent Health at MTRH. Throughout this journey so far, my excitement and enthusiasm for AMPATH have been sustained by the amazing energy and warm hearts of the entire RH team.
